Our attitude in using technology is affecting the environment, because most energy, especially electricity will exploit too much if we are not efficient in the use of electronic tools. For that reason, is time for us to save energy by doing the things below:
- Iron, set the heat level of iron in accordance with the materials that will be ironed. Clean the bottom of the iron because dirty iron can inhibit heat. Do not forget to turn off the appliance after finished ironing.
- Lights, turn off lights after use and while sleeping. Wear energy-saving bulb. If possible, we could use sunlight in the daytime.
- AC, make sure the air conditioning system in a good condition, because setting mistakes can make the installation of air conditioning was not working optimally and wasteful of energy.
- Washing Machine, avoid using dryer when there is sunlight in the afternoon.
- Water, use a shower would be better than using bathtub up. When the rains come down, tamping the water for watering the plants and flush the car.
- Refrigerator, avoid opening and closing the refrigerator too often, because when the cold air out, the compressor will work harder and requires greater energy. Do not fill the fridge with food that is unused.
- TV and radio, do not forget to turn off the TV, radio, and tape recorders and other audio-visual equipment after use.
